How would you describe the surf scene in Florida?

Josh

The surf scene is Florida is a lot different from other places. We have really bad waves most of the time so we have to learn how to surf those waves like the kids that surf perfect waves everyday, but we have our spots with a lineup and we stick together for the most part and always try to make each other better.

Based on your experiences, what advice do you have for kids that want to get surf sponsorship's?

Josh

Just get out there and go big every time and make things happen. My life motto is go big or go home and it seems to be working for me so far.

Where is your favorite place to surf and why?

Josh

Well I don't really have a favorite...My big wave spot is Pumphouse its in south florida and when the waves get big it will break a 20+ft wave. My other favorite spot is New Symrna Beach (NSB) it's just always fun to go up and hang out with friends and surf good waves. My everyday spot is The Cocoa Beach Pier.

If you could surf any spot in the world where would it be?

Josh

It would be a perfect left hander with a few good friends after we looked for hours for it and nobody has ever surfed it before.

Is there any one you'd like to thank or give a shout out to?

Josh

I just want to thank everyone who has helped me get to where I am today including my family, Sean Slater, Kelly Slater, CJ Hobgood, Dan Capuano, and the pier rats for always pushing me to be the best I can be. I also want to thank all my sponsors for all that they do.
